I Love You

This is probably my most complex arrangement, and maybe the most fun to play. It is certainly the one I get asked about by members of the band the most. The melody is stated many times throughout the chart in different ways, and the tempo goes through several related permutations. I had to draw some diagrams to write it, but it feels surprisingly logical when played because each new tempo is set up in a way that's easy to hear. Solos are scored for trombone and alto sax, but could certainly be passed around. I hope you'll give it a try. I think you'll like it! -Ben Patterson [instrumentation: 5 saxes, 8 brass, 4 rhythm]
